We are looking for a talented user researcher to join our agile team who has previous public sector exposure and be able to work with senior management and present complex matters clearly.

The role
  • Help identify suitable users and stakeholders to engage for user research.
  • Work closely with our software designer and team to frame, design, conduct and document the user and stakeholder research and testing.
  • Engage with users/stakeholders in the testing of prototypes.
  • Carry out moderated usability testing .
  • Analyse, present and publish report on findings.
You'll have
  • Experience of leading user research and creating the testing/analysis environment and conducting interviews and obtaining relevant consents.
  • Experience of setting up and carrying out moderated usability testing.
  • Knowledge of how to best engage with users and stakeholders as well as how you would go about testing for user/stakeholder feedback.
  • A recognised expertise in user research/testing methodologies.
  • Experience of involving a team in user research and helping them develop a deep understanding of their user.
  • Experience of undertaking research/testing with a broad range of users, including those with limited digital access and confidence and people with a range of visual, hearing, motor and cognitive impairments.
  • Modelling insights gained from user research into formats - such as personas, user journey maps - and providing final project reporting.
  • Experience working in the public sector (desirable)

This role will be based at our London office, with travel to our clients offices as required. 

Our public sector work means that candidates may be subject to a background check. If you already hold a current government security clearance please let us know.

  • Salary: £35.000-£38.000
  • Contract: 6 months (possibility of extension)
